About Syndromic Surveillance: Systems and Uses

After the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the functionality of syndromic surveillance for public health action
  • Identify the required data sources, uses and user needs (training, staff level, software) for different syndromic surveillance platforms
  • List examples of how data and information obtained from syndromic surveillance was utilized for public health action including reallocation of resources, prevention/control measures and changes to policies or procedures
