The presentation will cover an overview of Electronic Case Reporting (eCR) including how it works, what’s happening nationally and implementation in Florida so far. This presentation will provide an understanding of how the rapid receipt and consumption of electronic initial case reports from clinical care organizations into public health surveillance systems benefits epidemiologists by improving the efficiency and effectiveness of disease detection, surveillance, investigation, and response.
