Description: Since 2013, a community of injury epidemiologists has been using a standardized dataset to test programming and coding for requested injury data against a dataset with known outcomes. The intent of this ongoing project is to improve injury data quality and facilitate collaboration among injury epidemiologists in different states. This webinar will describe the technical components of this process, including how the standardized dataset was developed and implemented, as well as discuss lessons learned and future directions.

After the webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Develop and implement a standardized dataset to test programming and coding against a dataset with known outcomes.
