Speakers: The presenter is Sharon K. Greene, PhD, MPH. She is the Director of the Data Analysis Unit at the Bureau of Communicable Disease, NYC DOHMH, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health, Columbia University.

Objectives:

After the webinar, participants will be able to:
  • Describe disparities using age-adjusted incidence rate ratios, tests for trend, and population attributable fractions.
  • List diseases strongly associated with patient residence in high and low poverty areas in NYC.
  • Develop a process to solicit input for interpreting findings related to many diseases covered by subject matter experts situated across multiple communicable disease surveillance units.
