Objectives:The purpose of this webinar is to provide an overview of the Lyme disease Case Definition effective 2017 that will classify states as having high or low incidence of Lyme disease for the purposes of surveillance. Presenters from CDC’s Division of Vector-Borne Diseases, Bacterial Diseases Branch will review the background and need for the Lyme disease case definition change, explain how states were classified as high and low Lyme disease incidence states and discuss CDC resources to help with implementation of Lyme disease case definition changes.
